EMPLOYMENT

JOB TITLE: MECHANICAL ENGINEER- AEROSPACE

Job Description: This position is responsible for conducting design, analysis, and producibility of different aircraft structures. The candidate will not only be responsible for Mechanical design of the product, but also to develop technical and engineering solutions to products and manufacturing process development. The candidate will also work on Manufacturing and Quality Control to transfer product design to commercial production in a manner compliant with ISO and FDA regulatory and design control requirements.

Objectives: The Mechanical Engineer- Aerospace is expected to provide professional engineering and other related services to the Company and has specific responsibility for the delivery of the following outputs:

Engineering 
         - Apply Mechanical Engineering skills to design, fabricate, and test components of aircrafts. 
         - Implement structure analysis (e.g., modeling, static, fatigue, damage tolerance, etc.) . 
         - Solve complex technical problems that span diverse engineering disciplines.  
         - Perform reverse engineering through understanding current functions of the components.  
         - Verify that design features are compatible with selected manufacturing processes.  
         - Develop competitive cost effective mechanical designs that meet the requirements of the companies. 

- Develop, evaluate and improve processes to ensure that manufacturing specifications and procedures are adhered to in relation to quality, method, safety and costs. 

- Coordinate all aspects of the job including tooling and fixture design, NC programming, machine specification and implementation (if applicable), and the first article process. 

- Provide detailed process documentation to include tool and fixture drawings, definition of setup, operational procedures and overall process flow 

- Coordinate with the project teams 

- Assist in training of production operators 

- Coordination of Supply Chain to arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts and evaluate products according to specifications and quality standards. 

- Evaluate non-conformity causes and report results and corrective actions 

- Assist department managers with projects and/or provide technical advice 

- Write periodic reports and project reports 

- Able to manage all aspects of aerospace projects related to manufacturing processes to include planning, tracking of timelines and implementation of solutions. 

- Analyze processing methods to test efficacy of existing or new processes, and continuously improve the process by applying Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Project Management tools 

- Use miscellaneous IT programs including CAD, Mastercam programming software, Catia, & Solidworks software performing the job. 

Business Management Information 
• Monitor performance and reporting necessary updates to Management / COO.
Customer Relationship Management 
• Read all blueprints and specification sheets. 
• Review customer requirements and ensure they are met
